Expand the utility of your violet laser

eFluor® 506


eFluor® 506 is a high performance fluorophore for use in multicolor flow cytometry. It is designed for use with flow cytometers equipped with violet laser lines (405 nm) and has a peak emission of 506 nm. It can be detected using typical filters for AmCyan or Horizon™ V500 (such as 510/50 or 525/50 bandpass filters), allowing you to easily add eFluor® 506 to your multicolor panels.

A fourth color off the violet laser

eFluor® 506 antibody conjugates add another parameter off the violet laser, between eFluor® 450 and eVolve™ 605 and eVolve™ 655, so you can collect more data from your cellular samples. It is compatible for use with other eBioscience® fluorochrome conjugates, buffers, fixatives, and the UltraComp eBeads® microspheres.

eFluor® 506

eFluor® 506 is as bright or brighter than Horizon™ V500 and has reduced compensation out of other violet channels.

Photostability of eFluor® 506

eFluor® 506 stability post-fixation

LEFT: Mouse splenocytes were stained with CD4 (RM4-5) eFluor® 506 and either left unfixed (blue histogram), or were fixed for 30 minutes in Foxp3/Transcription Factor buffer set (purple histogram) or 30 minutes in IC Fixation Buffer followed by methanol (orange histogram).
